Foundation Settlement/Vulnerability Inspection / Report Fees:

These fees will be invoiced in advance and payment is required in advance to reserve appointment. Confirmation of appointment will only be sent once payment is received.

We use a digital monometer instrument or laser level to determine the slopes in the floors.

  • $800: < 1,500 sqft
  • $825: 1,501 sqft to 2,000 sqft
  • $850: 2,001 sqft to 2,500 sqft
  • $875: 2,501 sqft to 3,000 sqft
  • $900: 3,001 sqft to 3,500 sqft
  • $925: 3,501 sqft to 4,000 sqft
  • $950: 4,001 sqft to 4,500 sqft
  • $975: 4,501 sqft to 5,000 sqft
  • $1,000: 5,001 sqft to 5,500 sqft

The assessment is done on-site but recommendations and cost estimates are not given on-site.

The principal engineer reviews the assessment and provides the conceptual recommendations and ballpark cost estimates in the written report (which comes with explanatory diagrams).

A verbal consultation on-site or after the report is released is not included in the fees on our webpage and is not provided by our firm.

If a verbal consultation is desired with our principal engineer after the report is released, we invoice at that time in advance a $200 fee to be paid online. Once paid, a 1-hour phone consultation will be scheduled.

NOTE: WE DO NOT ENTER INTO THE CRAWL SPACE OR ATTIC. WE ONLY LOOK IN FROM THE ACCESS DOORS WITH A FLASHLIGHT.

These fees will be invoiced in advance and payment is required in advance to reserve appointment. Confirmation of appointment will only be sent once payment is received.

  • $150 San Diego, Riverside, or San Bernardino County.
  • $300 Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County, and Kern County.

Foundation Inspection Report Release Expediting Fees:

Optional service: Expediting Report’s Release can be decided on after inspection occurs.

These fees can be invoiced in a separate invoice after the inspection occurs. Payment must be received prior to the report’s release.

Once the inspection has been performed, our principal engineer must review for quality assurance. If desired, the report can be released earlier than our standard 3 business day turn around time for the following expediting fees:

  • $0 for 3 business days
  • $100 for 2 business days
  • $200 for 1 business day
  • $300 for same business day
  • $400 for expediting a report on a weekend day

Cancellation Policy:

  • < 8 hr of start time: 0% refunded
  • < 24 hrs: 50% refunded
  • Greater than 24 hours: 100% refunded

Optional Foundation Retrofit Engineering (Drawings/Calculations for Construction)

After the above tasks are completed, if the foundation settlement warrants stabilization, strengthening, retrofitting, we can perform the engineering if directed by the client in writing to do so. This is an additional service than the above service.

o For homes with hillside slope creep requiring tiebacks the additional fees of $400 are applicable.
o Due upon completion of Deliverable. Invoiced at that time online. Payments can be made online through
quickbooks (ACH bank transfer or credit card), paypal, venmo, zelle. Fees apply for some forms of online
payment. WE NO LONGER TAKE CHECKS IN THE MAIL. Deliverables will be sent once the invoice is paid.
